The newly formed University District Partnership (UDP) organization, where we participate, has received a grant from the City to study the possibility to improve the looks and functionality of some of the alleys in the District. The first effort goes into the alley between the Ave and 15th Ave NE, that is behind the bookstore, post office and Cafe Allegro. The Open House is on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 4:30 to 6:30 at U-Heights Center.

Join the University District Partnership and the City of Seattle Department of Transportation for the University District Alleys Open House to explore how to activate and enliven the District’s alleys. We’re soliciting community input focusing on the alley behind the University Bookstore from 45th to 42nd Streets NE.
